The 2011 Les Schwab Invitational boys basketball tournament slam dunk contest was held Tuesday afternoon, and the dunkers did not disappoint.
The annual event featured athletes from Oregon high schools as well as national basketball powers Jack Yates HS (Houston, Texas) and Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) whose teams are competing this week at the tournament.
Some notable dunks included a between-the-legs jam, a dunker leaping over two teammates and a catch-and-dunk of a bounce pass from the gym’s second floor.

Portland’s Alex Sattley of Lincoln High School took on Darrion Martin of Yates in the dunk finals. The judges, which included former Trail Blazer Brian Grant, selected Martin as the 2011 slam dunk champion.
